A refined version of the original RF-3, the number-one selling floorstanding loudspeaker in the United States since its introduction in 1999, the Klipsch RF-35 floorstanding speaker is designed to provide the highest level of two-channel and multi-channel audio as well as home theater surround sound (with the matching RC-35 center channel, RW-12 powered subwoofer and RS-35 rear channel speakers). Requiring less than a quarter the amplifier power of conventional speakers, the RF-35 conveys the full impact of whatever signal it is fed, without strain or limitation. This speaker measures 40.9 x 9.25 x 14.8 (with grille) inches (HxWxD).

The RF-35 uses a 1-inch titanium dome compression driver tweeter for the high frequencies, loaded by a 6-inch square 90 x 60-degree Tractrix Horn molded into the front of the enclosure. The horn raises the driver's efficiency and controls its radiation pattern to minimize detail-blurring reflections from walls, floor, and ceiling. Dual 6-inch Cerametallic cone woofers with rigid, low-resonance castpolymer frames generate powerful, dynamic bass. All drivers are magnetically shielded to prevent interference with direct-view television sets. The RF-35 also has a flared rear port to minimize turbulence noise.

The RF-35's crossover network ensures life-like performance with its top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor all mounted on a high-quality fiberglass epoxy circuit board. These premium components ensure lifelike performances. The speaker features two pairs of binding posts, which are linked with jumpers for normal wiring. Removing the jumpers allows the speaker to be bi-wired. The speaker's floating grille minimizes diffraction, and its feet can be fitted with rubber pads or spikes.
