Offering the same advanced technology and world-class materials as Klipsch's Reference III center channels, but featuring a smaller enclosure and more affordable price, the RC-10 center channel speaker is a great choice for any high-performance home theater system. It employs dual 4-inch woofers and a 1-inch titanium-dome compression driver loaded with a 4-inch square Tractrix horn for maximum clarity and efficiency. The woofers are made from Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic material, a strong, dent-resistant anodized aluminum that provides superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range.

It features Klipsch's version of 2.5-way crossover technology, called tapered-array. With tapered-array, the two Cerametallic woofers work together to deliver high impact bass with one driver transitioning out at the mid-range frequencies. This provides more consistent coverage across the listening field, less tonal error and improved dialogue intelligibility.

The crossover network is constructed using extremely high-quality components including top-of-the-line internal wiring, polyester film-type capacitors and an air-core inductor to ensure signal purity and proper driver integration. It has a low-diffraction sculpted baffle and a magnetically attached grille for an elegant fit and finish.

The woofers on the RC-10 still feature Klipsch's distinctive, copper-colored Cerametallic material. Made with an anodized aluminum, these cones are strong and dent resistant. The anodizing process converts their inner and outer surfaces to ceramic. The outcome is a rigid cone with superb damping characteristics that will not flex or resonate at frequencies within the woofer's operating range.
