While the competition offers tiny 7-watt speakers and plenty of interference, the all-weather OutCast packs a 100-watt digital amplifier and an advanced 2.4GHz wireless system that automatically jumps to the clearest channel. The transmitter connects to virtually any audio source and has a built-in iPod® dock. You can even control your iPod remotely using play/pause and track forward/back buttons on the top of the OutCast system. Transmits up to 350-ft, depending on conditions. Audiophile-grade speakers include an 8" downward-firing woofer and four 3" high frequency drivers in an omni-directional array. Operates up to 10-hours on the built-in rechargeable battery pack. The internal AC power supply recharges and powers the speakers simultaneously.
